Helicopter Foundation International Scholarships

Vertical Aviation Institute (VAI) provides scholarships for further education and training in the fields of aviation maintenance, commercial helicopter piloting, and pilot safety. These scholarships are part of an exclusive annual program designed specifically for VAI members.

Scholarship for Commercial Helicopter Pilot Rating

This scholarship is intended for individuals aiming to achieve their commercial helicopter rating. Eligible applicants must already possess a private pilot's license and be enrolled in a commercial helicopter rating program at an FAA-approved Part 141 school or an equivalent institution abroad.

Scholarship for Aviation Maintenance Technician Certification

This particular scholarship is targeted towards individuals undergoing training to become certified aviation maintenance technicians.

Michelle North Safety Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be granted full tuition coverage to attend a safety management course as part of VAI's Elevations program (previously known as the Professional Education Course), which is conducted annually at VERTICON.

Bill Sanderson AMT Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be granted full tuition coverage to attend a maintenance course provided by airframe and powerplant manufacturers.

WINCO Commercial Helicopter Pilot Rating Scholarship

The WINCO Commercial Helicopter Pilot Rating Scholarship is given annually to a pilot who possesses a private helicopter license and is currently working towards a commercial helicopter rating.

WINCO Aviation Maintenance Technician Certification Scholarship
