Bernard Greufe Honor Scholarship

Introduction
The Bernard Greufe Memorial Honor Scholarship provides a $1,500 award to help Montana Farm Bureau members and their children pursue postsecondary education. The scholarship is managed by the Montana Farm Bureau Foundation and is intended to support both graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students.
Who is eligible
- Applicants must be either Montana Farm Bureau members or children of members.
- Candidates must be seeking a degree at an accredited institution of higher education.
- Fields of study are not restricted to agriculture; students pursuing any accredited degree program may apply.
How applications are evaluated
A scholarship selection committee will review all submissions and select a single recipient. Decisions will be based on the applicant’s written statement (its quality and sincerity), academic record, demonstrated financial need, and evidence of character and perseverance. If the committee deems it necessary, finalists may be invited to participate in a virtual interview; those chosen as finalists will be informed in advance.
Notification
The selected recipient will be notified no later than June 1, 2026.
