Overview
The Montana Farm Bureau Foundation presents the $1,500 Bernard Greufe Memorial Honor Scholarship to support higher education for Montana Farm Bureau members and their children. This award helps both graduating high school seniors and students already enrolled in college as they pursue a degree from an accredited institution. Recipients do not need to be studying agriculture—the scholarship is open to any course of study.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a Montana Farm Bureau member or the child of a Montana Farm Bureau member.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or a current college student.
- Applicant must be pursuing a degree at an accredited institution of higher education.
Important dates
- Application deadline: midnight, April 1, 2026.
- Award notification: recipient will be informed by June 1, 2026.
Selection process
A scholarship committee will review submitted applications and select one recipient. Decisions will be based on:
- the quality and sincerity of the applicant’s personal statement,
- academic accomplishments,
- demonstrated financial need, and
- character and personal drive.
Finalists may be asked to participate in a virtual interview; those selected for interviews will be notified in advance.
