Ashoori Law Good Deeds Scholarship — $1,000
Overview
Ashoori Law is pleased to offer the Ashoori Law Good Deeds Scholarship, a $1,000 award intended to support one compassionate, motivated college student who has demonstrated going above and beyond to help others. We admire the ways students improve their communities, and this scholarship is designed to assist with tuition or other education-related expenses.
Who’s Eligible
- You have carried out an act (or a series of acts) of kindness that benefited another person.
- You are currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited U.S. undergraduate or graduate program.
- Your cumulative GPA is at least 3.0.
- You will complete and submit the required essay (details below).
- You will provide a transcript from your most recently completed semester (official or unofficial is acceptable).
- You must complete the Scholarship Application Form located to the right of this page.
- Applications are accepted once per year.
- Your application must be received by May 1 of the calendar year to be considered.
- The recipient will be announced on June 1 of the same calendar year.
Essay Requirements
Submit an essay of 750–1,000 words that introduces who you are, describes the act(s) of kindness you performed, explains the outcomes or impact of those actions, and describes how the experience influenced or changed you.
Terms and Conditions (Key Points)
- Open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
- Applicants must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an accredited college or university in the United States.
- Applicants must be scheduled to enroll in the semester immediately following the application deadline.
- All eligibility criteria listed above must be met.
- There will be one (1) scholarship winner, who will receive the $1,000 award.
If you meet the requirements, please complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit your essay and transcript by May 1 for consideration. The winner will be announced on June 1.
