Excellence in Accounting New York Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by New York State Society of CPA's
Introduction
The Moynihan Scholarship Fund (MSF), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, awards scholarships for accounting students based on demonstrated financial need and academic achievement. MSF also administers NYCPA Chapter Scholarships, which are supported by contributions from NYCPA members and other donors. Each chapter scholarship has its own eligibility rules — please review those carefully. You can apply for both NYCPA Chapter Scholarships and the Excellence in Accounting Scholarships using the same application link.
Award amounts and distribution
- Students may be eligible for more than one scholarship simultaneously.
- Individual MSF awards vary in size, with the maximum award capped at $2,500.
- MSF aims to send scholarship funds to recipients’ schools before the end of the fall semester; if that is not possible, funds will be disbursed by the end of the spring semester at the latest.
